Dundee made one change when Fin Robertson replaced Scott Tiffoney who was on the bench with Lyall Cameron, also was new signing Imari samuels.
Dundee started well and had a couple of attacks before Celtic took the lead when McCowan scored with a good header which left Carson helpless.
The visitors stayed on top for a wee while and could have scored a couple of goals, At least Dundee worked hard and were looking to get a chance before half-time.
They did three minute before the break, they broke up a corner and raced down the park, the ball was picked up by Robertson and his quick pass put Seun Adewumi clear and the youngster bend the ball home for a superb taken goal.
Celtic started the second half well and Dundee had to defend well in the first few minutes. But they scored in 54 minutes which was a scrappy goal, Yang headed home after Robertson and Carson failed to clear.
But at least Dundee had a go at celtic and 1 minute later it 2-2, Murray done well and fed Josh Mulligan who ran to the byline and his shot went in off Carter-Vickers into the net to the dee-light of the home fans.
Dundee kept at it and Adewumi flashed a 22 yard shot narrowly past. Ethan Ingram’s header flew just past the post with Schmeichel rooted to the goalline. Fin Robertson wasn’t far away with a free kick from 25 yards.
Celtic had a go as well and Carson made three good saves to keep Dundee in the game.
Then Dundee took the lead when Aaron Donnelly headed home to put Dundee ahead 3-2 with 12 minutes to go.
Dundee and Celtic had a go to get further goals, Sylla was unlucky with a shot which went over the bar. Dundee were digging in and went all the way into 3 minutes of 4 added on when Celtic were awarded a penalty after the ball hit Sylla's arm as he dived in to block a shot.
Needless to say Celtic scored and the game ended 3-3. A great point for the dark blues who came so close to winning the game. All the players were superb tonight and deserve all the credit they will get from this game.
