News From Dens Park...

Dundee have signed central defender Genseric Kusunga, subject to international clearance. Genseric is an Angolan international and has experience of playing in both the Europa League and Champions League.

He came through the ranks at Servette in Switzerland before moving to FC Basel in 2010 where he got experience of European football. Genseric played two seasons down at Oldham playing in the same team as Gary Harkins. He played 30 times for the Latics scoring two goals.

Most recently he has played with UniĆ£o da Madeira in Portugal. Genseric has signed until the summer and will wear number 5 for the club.


The transfer window shut with Jack Hendry being sold to Celtic also going to Celtic is Scott Bain on loan via Hibernian.

Scott Allan returned to Celtic then went to Hibernian on loan. Hibernian striker Simon Murray signs for Dundee on loan until the end of the season.

A Scott Allan goal after 47 minutes was enough to see Dundee progress into the next round of the Scottish Cup. They will now face Motherwell at Dens Park on the 10th of February.
