Dundee 0, Inverness CT 0, Dens Park, Ladbrokes Championship, 24-August-19

Dundee made two changes Paul McGowan and Kane Hemmings replacing Jamie Ness who was ill, and Josh Todd.

The game got off to a poor start with Dundee looking sluggish, and Inverness CT taking too long in the build up play to trouble Dundee.

Danny Johnson had a 20 yard effort saved which was a highlight of a poor first 20 minutes. McGowan and McDaid had efforts which went close as the first half finished.

Second half and Dundee made three changes Josh Todd, Josh McPake replaced Paul McGowan and Danny Johnson. Later on Andrew Nelson replaced Finlay Robertson. The changes left Dundee short in the midfield and they struggled to get service to the strikers.

Inverness CT came close twice late on with Dundee best effort was a Hemmings header which just went over the bar.

A draw was a fair result, but it's two points dropped and we will have to do better at Tannadice next week.
