New Signing For The Dark Blues

Dundee
have signed
midfielder Zan Besir on a two-year-deal with the option of a third year, subject to the relevant international clearance and obtaining the necessary visa.

Besir joined up with the squad in Hungary, training with his new teammates for the second half of the week.

The Slovenian most recently played for ND Primorje, leaving the Slovenian Second League club at the end of his contract in June. The versatile midfielder is also a former Slovenia U21 international.

Dundee have signed of defender Owen Bevan on a two-year contract, with the Club holding the option to extend the deal by a further year, subject to Scottish FA clearance and international approval.

The talented central defender has been at the club throughout preseason as a trialist, and becomes the latest addition to Steven Pressley’s squad as preparations continue for the 2026/27 season.

Still only in the early stages of his career, Bevan is a commanding and composed centre-back who has earned a reputation as one of the brightest young defensive talents to emerge from the English game. Comfortable in possession, strong in the air and intelligent in his positioning, he brings qualities that fit the style of football Dundee is looking to play.

Dundee has followed Owen for the last year and made their move. The Club would also like to thank AFC Bournemouth for their support in making this happen.

Dundee have signed winger Alan Forrest on a two-year deal, with an option for a third year. The winger most recently played for Heart of Midlothian, leaving upon the expiration of his contract last month.

29-year-old Forrest has also played for Livingston and Ayr United, where he came through the academy and was the club’s youngest goalscoring after coming off the bench for his debut and finding the net in a Challenge Cup match against Queen’s Park.

A good signing as other clubs were after from Scotland and England.
