Dundee 0, Hearts 6, Dens Park, William Hill Premiership, 01-February-25

Dundee made two changes to the team which beat Dundee United. Josh Mulligan returned from illness and Imari Samuels made his first start. They replaced Ethan Ingram and Fin Robertson.

The game started with both teams playing some good moves. Carson saved well from Shankland's header. But the games changed after 15 minutes when Hearts scored, sadly they scored again two minutes later.

After this Dundee struggled and Hearts took control of the game. Dundee had a couple of moves near the end of the half, and the closest they came was a Murray header which Gordon saved inthe Hearts goal.

Tony Docherty made two changes at half time. Fin Robertson and Seb Palmer-Houlden came on for Imari Samuels and Cesar Garza. Robertson was a straight replacement at left wing back, but Palmer-Houlden played up front with Murray, Lyall Cameron taking up a more central role, and Seun Adewumi behind the front two.

As Dundee came forward looking for a goal, Hearts hit on the break and scored with ease to make it 3-0. After this Dundee failed to create anythink of note to worry Hearts.

After 67 minutes it was 4-0 after Carson dropped the ball and Dremmeh had a easy tap in. Ziyad Larkeche came on for Adewumi after 70 minutes. It was at least a wee hightlight for the Dundee fans who had stayed to watch.

Hearts scored again in 77 minutes to make it 5-0, and the added a 6th goal in injury time to complete a bad day for the dark blues.

Next up is a trip to Parkhead to play Celtic on Wednesday night.
