Dundee had to make changes to the team due to a positive Covid 19 test. Christie Elliott, Corey Panter, Fin Robertson, Max Anderson, Jason Cummings and Danny Mullen all started, replacing Cammy Kerr, Jordan Marshall, Shaun Byrne, Jordan McGhee, Paul McGowan and Alex Jakubiak.
Dundee had a few early chances before Charlie Adam scored with ease at the back post after Jason Cummings cross had found him.
It was no surprise when Dundee scored again shortly after the half hour mark. Declan McDaid’s corner from the left reached Jason Cummings, who set up Corey Panter to smash home his first goal for the Dee in his first game.
Soon after Charlie Adam was replaced by Paul McGowan due to injury, Dundee made it 3-0 when Christie Elliott scored after good play from Cummings and McDaid.
Second half and Forfar Athletic pulled one back when McCluskey scored. But on 71 minutes it was 4-1 after McMullen was fouled in the box . Jason Cummings scored from the spot with ease. . Soon after Anderson scored Forfar's second goal with a simple tap in.
But Jason Cummings headed home with two minutes to go to complete the scoring.
