Dundee won 3-0 against Leyton Orient at Dens Park in the first friendly this season. Paul McGowan scored after only 5 minutes curling a great shot into the top corner for a peach of a goal. Dundee going by reports were well on top in the opening stages of the game.
Dundee made one change at half-time when Jordan Marshall replaced Cammy Kerr, he set up the second Dundee goal when his cross was poked home by Alex Jakubiak. Minutes later and it was 3-0 when a cross from Paul McMullan found Lee Ashcroft and he steered his volley from eight yards across the keeper and inside the post.
Soon after this on 69 minutes Dundee made changes to the team to see out the game, Leyton Orient did play with different sides for both halves. They did have chances but nothing to trouble the Dundee rearguard.
