Dundee could only draw 1-1 with Queen of the South on Tuesday night, a very positive start and in 15 mins
Leigh Griffiths earned a penalty on which he scored with ease. Also the Queen's defender got sent off, Dundee pushed forward looking for the vital second goal, but with all their efforts, had to settle winning 1-0 at half-time. Into the second half and the Doonhammers scored from a free kick after Kerr had handled, Harris beating keeper Bullock with a fine effort. Dundee threw everything to get a winner, but poor finishing and no luck and Queens kept Dundee out, they looked dangerous on the break. Tony Bullock had a great save in the dying minutes. In injury time the ref gave Dundee a penalty, but changed his mind after protests from the Queen's players and talks with the lineman. It did look a bit soft, so no real complaints.
