Latest News From Dens Park.................


Dundee might have ex-Hearts player Jean Louis Valois the chance to earn a contract when they travel west to face Clyde at Broadwood tomorrow. The former Hearts man impressed during a trial game on Wednesday and, along with a young English striker, has been handed training facilities at Dens Park. Kevin McDonald misses the game due to suspension. Up front, Hamilton-bound Derek Lyle is serving a three-game league suspension and, in his absence, more will be sought from the strikers — it will be another two from three choice with Jani Sturm, Bob Davidson and Jan Zemlik challenging. There is a pitch inspection at Broadwood at 10:30 tomorrow morning.. due to heavy rain this afternoon..and late news is Clyde's manager Colin Hendry has resigned....




Derek Lyle has signed a pre-contract with title rivals Hamilton Accies, can't really see how he can stay at Dens Park now..his contracts runs until the end of the season. Brent Sancho played as a trialist yesterday in a bounce game v Hibernian...two other unnamed trialists played also....
