Dundee 0, Celtic 3, Parkhead, cinch Premiership, 16th September 2023

Dundee made two changes to the team Cammy kerr coming in for Jordan McGhee and Ryan Howney replacing Scott Tiffoney. 

As expected Celtic attacked from the start but Dundee looked up for the game, early on Trevor Carson had a good save and then Riley hit the post.

Celtic then had a goal chalked off for offside, then the last 20 miniyes of the half they were in no real danger. Then Owen Beck pullled a low cross back from the byline. Luke McCowan’s close range shot was kept out by a reflex save by Joe Hart. Zach Robinson miskicked in front of goal and the chance was gone.

Second half Celtic started well playing with pace, then Celtic got a very soft penalty when Turnbull went down in the box. the referee gave a free kick at first Then changed to penalty after seeing it on Var. Turnbull recovered to score/ 

Luke McCowan went close with a curling shot after good link up play from Cammy Kerr and Fin Robertson. 

But soon after Celtic scored twice to finish the game. Dundee kept going to the end and they can take positived from their hardworking efforts.
