Transfer Window Updates.....and Club News....

Goalkeeper Calum Ferrie has extended his loan with Stirling Albion until the end of the season.


Dundee have signed goalkeeper Seny Dieng on loan from Queens Park Rangers, subject to international clearance. The 24 year old, who was born in Switzerland but is of Senegalese descent, has recently been on loan with Stevenage in League Two where he played 16 times in the first half of the season.

He made his professional debut at the age of 17 when on loan at FC Grenchen in Switzerland from Grasshoppers. Send then moved on to MSV Duisburg before joining QPR in 2016.

A regular for the London club’s under 23 side he had enjoyed loan spells with Whitehawk and Hampton and Richmond Borough prior to moving out on loan in the summer to Stevenage.

Seny joins the club on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Andrew Davies has signed for the club, subject to international clearance. Centre half Andrew joins the club on a 18 month deal and will bring a wealth of experience to the squad.

The 34 year old played under manager Jim McIntyre at Ross County. Davies was captain for the club as they lifted the League Cup in 2016. Andrew started his career with Middlesbrough where he gained experience in the English Premier League and the UEFA Cup. He spent time out on loan with QPR, Derby County and Southampton before making a permanent move to The Saints.

A move to Stoke City followed before loan spells including Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.

In 2012, he moved to Bradford City where he had spent time on loan. He played over 100 times over a three year period at Valley Parade and moved north to Ross County in 2015.

He was made captain in the Highlands as he spent three years with County. Last summer he joined Hartlepool where he has played 13 times this season before leaving recently. Andrew will wear squad number 14 this season.

Dundee have confirmed that Lewis Spence has  left the club by mutual consent. Lewis signed for the club in the summer of 2017 and played a total of 37 times over the last season and a half.

Young Striker Matty Henvey has today joined Cowdenbeath on a loan deal. It will be to the end of the season.

Martin Woods has today signed a contract extension which has seen him commit to the club until the end of the season.


Dundee has announced that Craig Curran has signed for the club. Born in Liverpool, Craig played for a number of clubs south of the border after coming through the youth ranks at Tranmere Rovers, he went on to play over 100 times for them before a move to Carlisle United.

He turned out for Rochdale, Limerick and Nuneaton being moving north to County. Most recently he has been with Dundee United after signing in the summer for the Tannadice side. Craig has signed a deal until 2021.

Rangers have today been in contact with the club to confirm that midfielder Glen Kamara has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Ibrox side. Going by reports it's a four year deal. Glen has done well for the club and I wish him all the best. Pity he never went to a club in England!

Kyle Gourlay has extended his loan with Elgin City until the summer.

Marcus Haber has left the club by mutual consent. The striker signed for the club in 2016 and spent the first half of the 2018/19 season on loan with Championship side Falkirk.


Midfielder Grant Nelson who signed for the club on a short term deal in October, as part of the Reserve squad, has also left the club at the end of his contract.

Dundee on loan players Andy Boyle, Calvin Miller and Adil Nabi have left the club.

Andy and Calvin will return to their parent clubs when the transfer window opens while Adil who is out of contract in January will not be offered a new contract.
