Inverness Caley Thistle 1, Dundee 1,

Dundee earned a point in the bid to finish in the top six this season, it would be really great if they could as staying up was the main aim for the first season in the top league.

To the game itself Dundee mainly struggled in the first half they knocked the ball about well but created very little for the strikers. Inverness Caley Thistle looked dangerous and Scott Bin had to made a couple of decent saves to keep the score level at half-time. I was glad to see the whistle so Dundee could regroup for the second half.

They did start better in the second half and took the game to Caley Th and took the lead after 52 minutes when David Clarkson fired home from 12 yards after good play from Stewart and McGowan. Inverness levelled straight from the kick off when Shinnie shot home, a poor goal for Dundee to lose so soon after going ahead. Later on Caley Th hit the post. At least the second half was much better and both teams tried to win it.

But in the end a draw was a fair result Dundee will now prepare for the visit of City Rivals United this coming Wednesday. I enjoyed my day out with The Maltman Dark Blues a few beers and good company.
