Dundee drew 1-1 with Dundee United on Sunday and came close to winning the game with Und scoring in the last few minutes. Dundee had Gary Irvine sent off after just 20 minutes gone. Ryan Conroy scored half way through the second half with a great turn and shot, after a good run forward from Brian Easton. New keeper Steve Simonsen made his debut and seemed to do well with everything he had to deal with.
