But against the run of play Colin McMenamin scored after his first effort was cleared off the line, but he was quick to react and shot high into the net to give Dundee a half-time lead. Into the second half and Dundee went for the killer second goal, first Harkins had a shot turned away for a corner, but in 47mins he sealed the points with a great strike, smashing the ball home from a Craig Forsyth cross. After that Dundee controlled the game with some marvellous touches from Gary Harkins, he went off near the end , and even the Jags fans applauded him. Also having a good game was Darren Young , who showed he is a very good player when fit. So a very good week for Dundee, and maybe coming back to win the Alba Cup two weeks ago has given them the self belief to go on and win this league.
