Dundee 3 Falkirk 1, Dens Park, Division One, 07/April/12

Dundee produced a fine performance with a comfy 3-1 win over Falkirk on Saturday. The score line could have been more in a fine end to end game. They got off to the perfect start in 11 minutes when Stephen O'Donnell scored with a 25 yard thunderbolt which gave the Bairns keeper no chance. A great strike from the midfielder who l feel is always capable of this kind of goal. Soon after Falkirk hit back when a shot from Miller beat Rab Douglas to level the game.

Dens Park Looking Good
Dundee played some fine stuff and it was a good entertaining game for the fans, Dundee regained the lead when they got a penalty after Darren Dods handled in the box. Ryan Conroy smashed the ball home to the delight of the Dundee fans.
Both teams came out for the second half and played some fine passing football with Dundee just having the edge, and on the hour they increased their lead to 3-1 when after good play from young striker Leighton McIntosh his cross was close to the falkirk keeper and striker Milne but Savo was quickest and stabbed the ball home from a few yards to seal the points.

Both teams had chances to score as the game to a close, a fine three points and it does make a change when teams come to Dens and play open football. It was also goo to see the scoreboard working l like it and long may it continue if Dundee keep winning at home.
