Dundee have failed in their bid to sign midfielder Gary Harkins, after the club’s £100,000 offer failed to tempt Partick Thistle to part with the player. The Jags are understood to be looking for a fee in the region of £175,000. Manager Jocky Scott will look elsewhere, and is talking to two players about possible deals.
