Dundee 4 Raith Rovers 0, Dens Park, League Cup, 26-August-14

Dundee beat Raith Rovers 4-0 at Dens Park on Tuesday night. They got off to the perfect start scoring on three minutes when Greg Stewart headed home a Roberts cross. Paul McGinn made it 2-0 when he curled a beauty into the top corner. Second half and Peter MacDonald made it 3-0 when he flicked home after good play from Boyle. Martin Boyle made it 4-0 with 70 minutes gone after scoring after a MacDonald shot was blocked. 

A fine win for the Dark Blues who made six changes from Saturday it was also good to see that they had 20 shots at goal. 

Dundee:  Bain, McGinn, McPake, Konrad (McGowan 46), Irvine, Boyle, Davidson, McAlister (Harkins 66), Roberts, Stewart, MacDonald (Tanklulic 70). Unused Subs: Letheren, Carreiro, Kerr, Wighton.
