Dundee 0, Hibernian 1, Dens Park, Ladbrokes Premiership, 24-January-18

Dundee made three changes to the team which faced ICT last Saturday, Jack Hendry, Jesse Curran and Faissal El Bakhtauoui all came in. Darren O'Dea and Scott Allan moved onto the bench and Sofien Moussa was suspended.

Dundee struggled in the first ten minutes , Hibernian looked quicker in midfield and Elliot Parish had to look sharp in the early stages. Dundee's first chance came when good play from Kamara and he send Aurtenetxe's cross was headed just wide by McGowan.

Hibs were the better side in the first half, but Dundee started the second half well and Mark O'Hara was really unlucky with a shot which went just wide of the goal. But minutes later Hibernian took the lead when Dundee failed to clear in the box and McGinn turned quickly to find the net with a low drive.

Mark O'Hara was unlucky with a well placed header from eight yards out, just before that McGowan put one wide when clean through. Scott Allan was on now replacing Jesse Curran and Dundee looked so much better going forward. Hibs were still dangerous on the break and Parish made a couple of good saves in the last few minutes of the game.

Sub Matthew Henvey just about levelled with a header but sadly for the youngster he just missed the goal. Dundee pushed to the end but Hibs held on to take all three points.

Dundee: Parish, Kerr (c), Hendry, Meekings, Aurtenetxe (Holt 77), Curran (Allan 57), O’Hara, Kamara, Aurtenetxe, McGowan, El Bakhtaoui (Henvey 81), Leitch-Smith. Unused Subs: Malherbe, O’Dea, Etxabeguren, Wolters.
