Dundee made one change to the team Jordan McGhee replacing Ryan Sweeney due to suspension. Both teams started well and Dundee looked in the mood. Queens Park knocked the ball about nicely but failed in the last bit to be really dangerous.
Dundee came close when Mulligan had a shot blocked and Kerr headed over the bar, the queens keeper then had a good save fom a Cameron effort to deny Dundee taking the lead.
Dundee took the lead soon after when Robinson was fouled in the box, the Referee took his time and it was clear he had give a penalty. He did and Zack Robinson stepped up to score with ease.
Both teams had chances and it was a minute from half time when Zack Robinson scored a wonderful goal he picked the ball up in space and from 30 yards smashed a superb shot into Ferrie’s top right corner. A great strike one to remember for years to come.
Second half and Dundee took control of the game and could have scored four or five on the day. Just before the hour Dundee made a triple substitution. Paul McGowan, Niall McGinn and Zak Rudden came on for Lyall Cameron, Paul McMullan and Zach Robinson, who all received warm applause as they left the field.
Dundee made it 3-0 when Zak Rudden forced the ball home after the first effort was saved. it put the game to bed and the three points was sealed.
It's been a good week for the dark blues and two 3-0 wins are good for the team, next up is the trip to Cove Rangers next Friday.
