Holiday In Manila

While on Holiday with my Wife Carmie and Son Andrew we spend nearly three weeks in the Philippines which we visited family and friends. Also we were able to meet up with fellow DFC Neil Wallace who has lived in the Philippines for the last six years. It was great to spend some time together below are some photos:








News From Dens

Dundee will play Kilmarnock at Dens park on the opening of the SPFL Premiership. The club will get the SPFL Championship Flag after winning it last season. It will be another great day for DFC fans.

Gary Irvine is set to sign a new 1 year deal to stay at Dens Park it will be his fifth season at the club, meanwhile Ryan Conroy has left the club he done well enough in his time at Dens, he leaves with best wishes in his future career.

Signing target Kane Hemmings  has signed for Barnsley likely money talks in this move.

Another Four Depart Dens Park...and More News

Declan Gallagher 
Dundee have confirmed that Declan Gallagher, Stephen Hughes and Sean Bonnett-Johnson and Matt Lockwood have left the club. Hughes played 1 games for Dundee with Bonnett-Johnson made the squad but never played for the first team. Matt Lockwood spend 4 seasons at Dens and played a big part in the club staying in the First Division after a 25 point punishment. Declan Gallagher played in every game last season scoring 4 goals. Best wishes to all four players in their future where ever they go.

Dundee are still talking to Kevin McBride about a contract and the club also say that season tickets sales are up from last season's figures.

News From Dens Park

Dundee have appointed Gerry McCabe as Assistant Manager, he has signed a two year deal. Prior to Queen of the South, Gerry was previously Assistant Manager at Kilmarnock, Hibs, Plymouth Argyle, Dumbarton and Dunfermline.


Simon Ferry
Dundee have signed midfielder Simon Ferry from Portsmouth he has played for Swindon Town and Celtic, Simon was also at Dundee as a young lad. Paul Hartley is keen to play him in a attacking midfield role.

Dundee trio Kyle Benedictus, Nicky Riley, and Ryan Conroy have all been told they are free to leave despite having a contract for this coming season.

Willie Dyer and Martin Boyle have signed new contracts for next season. Great news for the Dens Park faithful.

Dens Park News Round Up

Dundee have signed Ex Hibs players midfielder Kevin Thomson and central defender James McPake, and Alloa keeper Scott Bain. Kevin Thomson will be Dundee's captain next season.

Dundee have signed strikers Philip Roberts he has played for Inverness Caley Thistle and Falkirk after starting out with Arsenal. Also joining after signing a pre-contract is striker Greg Stewart

As expected Paul Hartley has started to build his squad for next season here is the list of players who have moved on or being released by the club: Christian Nade, Craig Beattie, Dan Twardzik, Gavin Rae, Stephen O'Donnell, John Gibson, Leighton McIntosh, Jamie Reid, and Steven Doris.
