Partick Thistle and Gretna Games.

Dundee beat Partick Thistle 3-1 at Dens, in what was a very good performance. To the game and Partick scored in the first few minutes after some slack play closing down.Allowed Young to net with the help of a big deflection. But we came back and great play from Swankie and Lyle, and Deasley scored with a cool lob. Not long after and a great defence splitting pass to Lyle who's shot was saved by the keeper, but Deasley followed up to make it 2-1. That was the score at half-time. The second half was mainly all Dundee and only some good saves stopped up running riot. We did get a third when Rae and Lyle set Swankie away and he scored the killer third to seal the points.
So in the end a good 3 points and should set us up for the trip to Gretna on Saturday.
I missed the game at Gretna due to having the Flu.We lost 1-0 and by reports we did not play too well. I also see that Bobby Mann was left out and Gary Smith came back after injury. Lets hope that we can get a cup run going and finish up the league a bit before the end of the season, and Manager Alex Rae can bring in the right players this Month.
